30 Nov The importance of getting It Right.

I did a quote today where the customer had just had his house painted ??? that’s what i was thinking.

Now the problem was there had been no prep work done or very little, I felt so bad for the customer and also for the painting company which i new of.

quite a large Company, anyhow  what i am getting to is if you don’t get the job done rite the first time it will end up costing you double maybe even more. So i think about the people out there haggling for price reductions. When the truth is every one needs to make money to live thats why we are all in business.

If you haggle and cut prices or get those companys out there at the moment giving people 10% less than any quote (what a joke)

you are going to get sub standard work. the reason is there on a tight budget now because there money for living has been reduced to a time frame in which they MUST finish your house . and believe me it wont be a quality job at the end of the job you will be picking out problems which they must fix (you hope rite )  they will be stressing more and more, your stressed now you think you got ripped off .(you did)

they made no money what so ever because the job was so tight in fact in some occasions it actually costs them money because of touch ups. but it got money in for them to live another week . another unhappy customer.

Now iam not saying get the highest quote, but do get a company that cares about your house and that’s not going to rush. that’s going to take the time to choose colours with you to get it right.
